Question: (1) What is a book that you didn't like that all your friends raved about or (2) what book did you love that wasn't popular?

Answer: I'll answer both parts. I didn't care for Low Pressure nearly as much as EVERYBODY at book club. They all just loved that book. Let me tell you, I have no idea why. I mean it wasn't unreadable, but it definitely wasn't one of Brown's best either. It was barely "okay" to me. I even guessed the killer correctly half way through. I just didn't understand why they loved it so much.

I loved The Vampire Huntress Legend series by L.A. Banks, all the books are phenomenal to me, but not many people know about it. That saddens me, because that series was so amazing and I always talk about it and try to encourage others to read it. That series is what jump started my love of Urban Fantasy books.

Hopping through. The LA Banks books are new to me. I will definitely look them up. I love all things vampire related.

You should check out the L.A. Banks books for sure. Since you like romance, you may enjoy it. There is a good amount of nontraditional romance in them. :-)
