Author Feature Policy - ***Please note: My author features do not come with a book review. I will not review or read your book/audiobook for an interview. I will do research and ask questions to learn about your book/audiobook to prepare for the interview. Check out my podcast here to hear previous interviews.
***Shelf Addiction is not currently accepting titles for review. You can still apply for an author feature only.***
If you'd like to be featured on Shelf Addiction please fill out the below form. Please read the options in their entirety before submitting.
Before you submit, please read the following.
1. Your book and/or series must be fiction. It can be any genre, but fiction is mandatory.
2. You must write Adult, New Adult or YA. (No Erotica, BDSM, MG or Children's level books. Sorry, that's not the Shelf Addiction audience.)
3. I will confirm that your title is in line with the content on my blog. Submitting a request does not guarantee a feature. After I review your form submission, if it's accepted I will contact you to work out the details. I'll schedule you in and let you know your post date. I require all post information no less than 1 week prior to the posting date.

No more than ONE interview or post per year, per author or audiobook narrator.
Appear on the Shelf Addiction Podcast with an Interview! This feature is for a Podcast (pre-recorded) interview only. I also include a coordinating interview blog post.
The promo post will center on the featured title or series that the author would like to promote. The post will include an author bio, social media links, book cover art and synopsis, an Amazon buy link, a Rafflecopter giveaway widget (if you choose to do a giveaway), and any other interactive media for the book (i.e. book trailers, audiobook snippets, book excerpt, etc.) as well as the podcast interview embedded into the post. I will also post on social media (Twitter and Facebook) several times in the 2-3 days following the interview going live. The expectation is that you will share the podcast episode on your social media outlets. If you chose to do a giveaway, I propose two giveaway winners. One paperback copy for a US winner and one ebook download for an international winner. I find that international giveaways tend to have more traction. The Rafflecopter will include the ability to earn additional entries by following the author on Twitter and visiting their Facebook page. I will also mention the giveaway during the podcast interview. The podcast show notes will include the blog post/giveaway link, author social media links, and Amazon book buy link. |
