Review Policy - Please note: The author feature and book review do not go hand in hand. You can request one or the other, or both on separate forms.
What books and formats are accepted? I am open to receiving ARCs and finished copies. My preference is a bound print edition. I accept several types digital editions also. Both egalleys and finished copies are accepted in PDF and Kindle-compatible eBook format. I also will accept an audio book in CD or MP3 format.
To submit a review request, please use the contact form below and include the books description in the comment box. Also indicate if you need the review completed by a specific date. If your book is chosen for review, I will email you with the mailing address for print books or email you with a Kindle email address for Kindle-compatible or PDF eBooks.
Indie/Self Published Books: When submitting a review request for an Indie/Self Published book, please include an excerpt of your book with your request. :-) Only a *LIMITED* number of Indie and self-published reviews will be approved.
What's the turn around time? I require at least 6-8 weeks to read and review a book. If the schedule is heavy, the review can be posted up to 3 months after receipt of the book. Please contact me enough in advance to meet the anticipated release/posting date. I generally I post my reviews during the week prior to the release date. In some instances if I'm really busy, I may post it the day of or a few days after the release date.
Tell me more about your reviews! All of my reviews are unbiased and reflect my unbiased personal opinion, thoughts and feelings about the book. There is not a science behind my reviews as it is my subjective opinion.
I have a 50 page rule. If the book has not grabbed my attention by page 50, I will not guarantee that I will finish it nor that a review will be posted. If your book is deemed DNF (did not finish) it was not good enough to finish, so a review will not be posted. I'd will not write negatively about a book that I'm unable to complete.

5 Bookmarks: Wonderful! Loved it! It's a MUST read!
4 Bookmarks: Good read! Don't pass up on reading this!
3 Bookmarks: I liked it.
2 Bookmarks: It was okay, I got through it.
1 Bookmark: Awful, don't waste your time.

What are Shelf Addiction's blog stats? My blog stats count the unique visitors. This means it counts all actions from an individual visitor as one visit. It does not count the same visitor coming back and viewing the website more than once or viewing multiple pages in the same day.
One unique individual = 1 visit.
Average unique monthly page views is 25,000+
Average unique daily page views 850+
