Liv is the Founder of The Colorfully Candid Paradigm, Inc in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she is dedicated to impacting the lives of young ladies through her writing, motivational speaking, and service. Growing up in southern Illinois, Liv struggled with bullying, depression, suicidal ideation, and alcoholism, but it was easily masked behind the smile she wore, the great grades she made, and the many extracurricular clubs she joined and led. Synopsis: Zadie Anson and Emma Colley have been best friends since their early twenties, when they first began navigating serious romantic relationships amid the intensity of medical school. Now they're happily married wives and mothers with successful careers--Zadie as a pediatric cardiologist and Emma as a trauma surgeon. Their lives in Charlotte, North Carolina are chaotic but fulfilling, until the return of a former colleague unearths a secret one of them has been harboring for years.
As chief resident, Nick Xenokostas was the center of Zadie's life--both professionally and personally--throughout a tragic chain of events in her third year of medical school that she has long since put behind her. Nick's unexpected reappearance during a time of new professional crisis shocks both women into a deeper look at the difficult choices they made at the beginning of their careers. As it becomes evident that Emma must have known more than she revealed about circumstances that nearly derailed both their lives, Zadie starts to question everything she thought she knew about her closest friend.
I love Grey’s Anatomy and I adore Big Little Lies, I enjoyed them both immensely. When I heard that this book has the vibe of both of those put together, I was all about it! Pair that with the stunning cover (I’m a sucker for pretty cover art) and I was super excited to read The Queen of Hearts.
Kimmery Martin delivers a beautifully written book about friendship, motherhood, secrets, and medicine. I found this book hard to put down. Her writing style is concise, yet it’s easy to read and had a warmth to it. At first I was concerned that things could get too technical with all the medicine because Martin is a doctor, but I had nothing to worry about. The parts that described medical procedures and surgiers were well done and digestible.

My Week with the Bad Boy by Kennedy Fox
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk.
That should've been my first sign.
I write about guys just like him for a living--sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic f*ckboy.
And I want nothing to do with that.
Writing romance novels comes with its perks--traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head--but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you.
One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems.
One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more.

Synopsis: Louisa Clark arrives in New York ready to start a new life, confident that she can embrace this new adventure and keep her relationship with Ambulance Sam alive across several thousand miles. She steps into the world of the superrich, working for Leonard Gopnik and his much younger second wife, Agnes. Lou is determined to get the most out of the experience and throws herself into her new job and New York life.
As she begins to mix in New York high society, Lou meets Joshua Ryan, a man who brings with him a whisper of her past. Before long, Lou finds herself torn between Fifth Avenue where she works and the treasure-filled vintage clothing store where she actually feels at home. And when matters come to a head, she has to ask herself: Who is Louisa Clark? And how do you reconcile a heart that lives in two places?
* This book was provided by Penguin Random House in exchange for an honest review.
First, I must say that I really loved Me Before You, it’s a book that sticks with you forever. Then I read After You and while I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first book, I was satisfied finding out what happened to Louisa. Now we have Still Me, the third installment. I recommend that you read the first two books before reading Still Me. You'll need the context from past books. Same as previous books, this is told from Louisa's point of view. I'd consider this both a contemporary romance and women's fiction, probably in the Chick Lit sub genre.
