Here are my five questions! I'm glad you stopped in!
Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging? I'm Tamara and I love books! I've been blogging off and on for 3-4 years. When I started my book blog about a year and half ago, blogging finally stuck! I guess I found the perfect outlet that allowed me to be consistent with blogging. I started Shelf Addiction because I LOVE books and LOVE talking about them! I've actually reviewed books for a long while before I started blogging. Have you previously participated in Armchair BEA? What brought you back for another year? If you have not previously participated, what drew you to the event? This is my second year participating with BEA. I hope to be a little more involved than last year. I'm always so busy and it's hard to participate during the day due to my work schedule, but I'll give it a go! I'm looking forward to meeting even more book blogger friends.
What are you currently reading, or what is your favorite book you have read so far in 2013? Right now I'm reading Tangled Threads by Jennifer Estep. I'm really enjoying this series. I don't really have any favorites so far this year, but recently I read The Immortal Rules and The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa and really loved them. They're so different from many of the other YA vampire books, which is why they've stuck with me. In case your curious, the links to the reviews are below.
Tell us one non-book-related thing that everyone reading your blog may not know about you. I love cooking and making jewelry! Check out my food blog here and my online jewelry boutique here!
If you could eat dinner with any author or character, who would it be and why? I would love to have dinner with L.A.Banks! Ms.Banks died a few years ago, but she will always be remembered by her fans. Her Vampire Huntress Legend series turned me on to my love of Urban Fantasy/Fantasy/Paranormal Romance. I was addicted to her books and read all 12 book with reckless abandon! Ever since then, I jumped into the UF world never looked back!
