What new release will you be buying for you illustrious book shelf or reader?
I seem to have a interesting mix of genres this week!
Listed in no particular order:
Blood Lite III: Aftertaste, by Kevin Anderson (Urban Fantasy/Horror, Anthology) - I've read a few of these authors and enjoyed their works. This series is about darkly humorous stories. Plus, it's fun to break things up and read a few short stories!
Killing Bridezilla (Jane Austen Mystery) by, Laura Lavine (Chick Lit, Mystery) - This looks like a fun, light summer read. Just my pace this time of year.
The Player, by J.R. Ward, written as Jessica Bird (Romance) - I love J.R. Ward, but I've never read any of her romance books written under her pseudo name, Jessica Bird. I figured I'd check Ms.Ward out in this genre. This is a reprint and a rename of a previously published book under Harlequin. It's also the second book in the Moorehouse Legacy series, following The Rebel, but I'm sure picking it up here won't be a problem.
The GQ Candidate, by Keli Goff (General Fiction) - I read some of chapter one, and it seems pretty interesting. I must admit, I've never read a book revolving around politics, but this has grabbed my attention. The ebook actually came out last summer, but it made it to print, out today.
Dark Frost: A Mythos Academy Novel, by Jennifer Estep (YA Urban Fantasy) - I liked the first two books, so I’m excited to read this one. I got a sneak peak at the first chapter and it seems like it’s going to be good. So I will be reading this one soon!
