#FF Feature & Follow Friday #8

9/21/2012

Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted by, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every Friday, each host will have their own Feature Blog which allows them to show off more new blogs! It is a fun way to not only gain new followers but to meet and make new blogger friends!

Feel free to follow Shelf Addiction via NetworkedBlogs, Linky or Email subscription. If you are new to Shelf Addiction, please leave a comment below with how you're following and I will make sure to visit & follow your blog back. :-)

Question: What hyped up book do you think was worth all the talk?

Answer: I have two picks. Both of these books I read after hearing a ton about them and I really enjoyed them both.

The Hunger Games, obviously! In my opinion, the first book was the best of the three.

The Night Circus, which was really good. It was a little odd to read at first, but once you got into the flow of things, it was worth it. I can see this book as an amazing movie if done right.

18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely books geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!

Feel free to follow Shelf Addiction via NetworkedBlogs, Linky or Email subscription. If you are new to Shelf Addiction, please leave a comment below with how you're following and I will make sure to visit & follow your blog back. :-)

Question: What book are you currently in the middle of? Not 'just finished', I want to hear about what you're currently deep into and your thoughts on it right now. Loving it, not so much, or mixed feelings, maybe? Get it all out, sometimes how we feel about a book in the middle is totally different then how we feel at the end. It will be interesting to hear about it now and then go back to check out everyone's reviews later!

Answer: I'm currently in the middle of Boyfriend from Hell, by Jamie Quaid. At this very moment, I'm sort of not sure if I like the book or not. It's taking too long to get to the meat of the story.  I'm holding off judgement because even though it's starting slow, I see the potential and I'm hoping the story will be great once it gets moving.

Erg. It's so hard when they start off slow like that. Hope it picks up soon and you enjoy the read :) I'm really liking that cover.

I did really love the Hunger Games... and I've been wanting to read The Night Circus, and seeing it on a few people's "deserved the hype" list has really encouraged me.
