You'll get even more content here as I also include any other Pop Culture related thing that may have not been covered in the podcast, plus any YouTube things that I deem Pop Culture worthy! TV | Queen Sugar - ​New TV series with groundbreaking female directors

On September 6th and 7th, the Oprah Winfrey Network will host a two-night series premiere of QUEEN SUGAR directed by award-winning filmmaker Ava DuVernay (Selma). Based on the bestselling book by Natalie Baszile, QUEEN SUGAR. It chronicles the lives and loves of the estranged Bordelon siblings who have been reunited to run a struggling sugarcane farm in the Deep South. We just wanted to make sure you’re aware of this new all-female directed production and person of color-led cast.
 
The first season of QUEEN SUGAR contains 13 episodes, airing at 10/9C on OWN every Tuesday
