If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you've probably already seen that I posted a photo of my TBR Jar. Back in the day...a looonnnnggg time ago, I did TBR drawing videos on my YouTube account. I put the jar away after using it for a bit and never really looked at it again. But, as I'm behind on my reading list, I thought dusting off the TBR Jar was in order. Sometimes not knowing or having control over what I'm reading next makes it more fun! It mixes things up for me and sometimes I go through my TBR titles faster when I'm not looking at a physical list of books in my planner to cross off. I'm hoping for that same effect again. I'll be using it just for my end of the year reading.
If you've never heard of a TBR Jar, let me explain how it works. I write down the books from my TBR list onto small sheets of paper, fold them and put them in the jar. When I'm ready to read my next book I just shake the jar and blindly pick one paper. Whatever I draw from the jar, I read.
