Check out today's challenge, hosted by the Pink Ladies fearless leader, Meagan at Reviewing Wonderland!
The Page 99 Test is simple: After reading page 99, would you want to turn the page? If you have never done this before, the object of the game is to pick a book you have not yet read, turn to page 99 and read that page. Then you give a synopsis of that page and tell us if, based only on that page, would you want to read this book?
It's too funny, when I first learned what the Page 99 test was a few weeks ago, I started doing it in stores! When I saw an interesting book, I turned to page 99 and read. I found it really fun to do! It does give you a good idea of the content, the story and the writing style of the author. It's right in the perfect spot because usually the characters and plot are usually pretty developed by that point.
Please remember to give a synopsis ONLY, no spoilers and no plagarism.

Release Date: July 3, 2013
Pages: 304 (Hardcover)
Genre: General Fiction
Synopsis: Regina Gottlieb had been warned about Professor Nicholas Brodeur long before arriving as a graduate student at his prestigious university high on a pastoral hill. He’s said to lie in the dark in his office while undergraduate women read couplets to him. He’s condemned on the walls of the women’s restroom, and enjoys films by Roman Polanski. But no one has warned Regina about his exceptional physical beauty—or his charismatic, volatile wife.
My Education is the story of Regina’s mistakes, which only begin in the bedroom, and end—if they do—fifteen years in the future and thousands of miles away. By turns erotic and completely catastrophic, Regina’s misadventures demonstrate what can happen when the chasm between desire and duty is too wide to bridge.
So what that said, I will be reading and doing a review and giveaway of the hardcover book courtesy of the publisher (Viking) on July 15th, so check back for it! Now that I've read page 99, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of what this book is about!
Please share your page 99 experience. I'll be making the rounds today reading as many as I can.
Happy Reading,
~Tamara (Summer Lovin' Pink Lady)
