What do you do when you are not writing? My first love is my family. I'm a wife, mother, and I work full time, so I have a pretty full plate like most people do. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, hiking, reading, and traveling.
What book(s) are you reading right now? I am currently reading The Sixes by Kate White. I'm really enjoying it so far!
Physical books or e-reader? I am in love with my Kindle! I do like physical books as well. My mother swears she will never own a Nook or Kindle because she wants the feel of the physical book in her hand. I love the ability to be able to choose a book that fits the mood I'm in, and e-readers gives you that freedom with the touch of your fingertip.
Name a book that you've bought for the cover art. - I had to think about this one. I don't think I've ever purchased a book just by its cover. I'm a huge 'back of the book' reader, but the cover has helped to sway my decision more than once.
Hero or Villain? I'm a hero kind of girl. I love alpha male heroes with a sensitive side, I'm a true sucker for novels like these. There have been some unforgettable villains out there as well. James Patterson is my favorite author. He does an AMAZING job putting the reader in the head of the hero and the villain.
What's your favorite book when you were a child? Chronicles of Narnia is my favorite childhood book. Both my parents read to me, and I have very fond memories of my father reading this book to me while I was tucked into bed.
Coke or Pepsi? Coke, especially Cherry Coke!
Tell us what you are working on next. - I am currently working on After the Rain, the final novel in The Rain Trilogy. I have become very attached to the characters in this trilogy, it's going to be bittersweet for me when I finish. I also have a few other novel ideas I've been working on that I'm excited about. I'm sticking with new adult contemporary romance for the time being.
Is there anything that you would like the readers to know about this book or you in general? Saving Rain is a new adult contemporary romance with a dark side. It is the beginning of a poignant story of abuse, human trafficking and beautiful, redeeming love. I would like to express my gratitude to the readers! I hope you enjoy Saving Rain!
